There is a rhythm to making sambousek. Roll, fill, fold, crimp the edge with your thumb, over and over until the tray is full. Roy Ner's are filled with camel, egg and olive, fried until the pastry blisters, and served with roast capsicum ezme and cool labne.

Made by hand, the way this pastry has always been made.

Ten years of dishes have come and gone at NOUR. This one never left. Roy Ner put the chicken bits shawarma on the menu in 2016, and it has been there every day since, through every chef, every change, every service.

Tarator, pickled cabbage, yoghurt bread. The plate people keep coming back for. When a dish holds the room for a decade, you leave it exactly where it is.

A Cricket Season of Surprises 🌦️🏏

From sunshine to showers, guest speakers to gourmet dining, it’s been a summer to remember at The Kia Oval. Across the Graham Thorpe Suite, Clubhouse, and Roof Terrace, guests enjoyed unforgettable hospitality and dramatic cricket moments.

England sealed a 3–0 ODI series victory over the West Indies, wrapping up the final match on 3 June with a confident seven-wicket win.

In the T20 Blast, Surrey topped the Southern Group and charged into the quarterfinals with serious momentum.

The Test series against India delivered edge-of-your-seat drama, ending in a 2–2 draw after a nail-biting six-run defeat in the final Test, with Chris Woakes’ one-armed batting heroics stealing hearts.

And in The Hundred, Oval Invincibles claimed their third consecutive title, while the Northern Superchargers women triumphed over Southern Brave in a thrilling finale.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us this season! Now’s the time to book your 2026 experience!

Cricket, cocktails, and culinary brilliance 🏏🍸✨

What a spectacular few days at the England v India Test Match at the Kia Oval.

The experience began with a golden-hour preview evening — a beautiful night of sunshine, exquisite food, and cricket legends that set the perfect tone for the days ahead.

Guests were treated to unforgettable experiences in our Clubhouse Suite and the Graham Thorpe Suite, with stunning views, amazing cocktails and vibrant conversations.

A huge thank you to @chefroyner and his incredible team @jerulondon for the beautifully curated food in the Graham Thorpe Suite — every bite was a masterpiece.

We had the honour of welcoming an extraordinary lineup of legendary guest speakers, including the iconic David Gower, Gladstone Small, and the great Sunil Gavaskar — with a special appearance from Cheteshwar Pujara.

The event was further elevated by the presence of former cricketing stars such as Chris Broad, Graham Gooch, Mark Butcher, and Alex Hartley, who shared captivating insights and stories that truly brought the spirit of the game to life.

To top it all off, cricketing superstars Chris Gayle and Robin Uthappa made a surprise appearance, mingling with guests, sharing laughs, and posing for some unforgettable photos.

Here’s to great sport, great company, and unforgettable memories. 🥂🇬🇧🇮🇳
