“All of us love. All of us do it more and more perfectly. The past has brought us both ashes and diamonds. In the present we find the flowers of what we’ve planted and the seeds of what we are becoming. I plant the seeds of love in my heart. I plant the seeds of love in the hearts of others.”*

One of my deepest love languages is creating beautiful, memorable, authentic gatherings with all of my loved ones. Dreaming up a table scape and a menu fills my bucket in a way unlike other creative practices.

What originated as an intimate family birthday dinner quickly matured into a buoyant celebration of friends, family, kids and kittens. One of my most favorite sounds is that of kids squealing and thundering down the stairs, laughing and playing and enjoying the company equally as much as each respective adult.

Last night was such a great reminder to hug your friends tight and be grateful for each and every constituent of your village. Love grows exponentially when you let people know just how loved they are.

All of us love and all of us do it more and more perfectly. 🩷

I couldn’t have made yesterday a better day if I tried. Thank you all. Ilysm.

I feel incredibly fortunate that we’ve been on this amazing journey together for 17 years - it’s truly mind-boggling! 😩

But what I want you to know is that you’re not just my best friend, you’re my sister, my confidante , my source of joy, and my love. There’s absolutely nothing I wouldn’t do for you!

I’ve had the privilege of celebrating countless birthdays with you, but this one feels extra special. I believe it’s because a bountiful season is on the horizon, my dear friend, and when God created you, He truly outdid Himself!

My love for you runs deep, @cheftoi ♥️🎉♐️ I hope you felt extra special this weekend my friend because my heart is so full! #happybirthday #blessed 🙏🏾
