Cheers to Herbalife Nutrition for celebrating the successes of Tokyo athletes. Such an honor to have had a night out with President Spyros Capralos, champions, and forward thinking people.

These two are real heroes. @Makis_Kalaras and @CheJonFernandes, both Greek Paralympian athletes.

Makis was stagnated on a wheelchair after an accident at the age of 17. Today he is an amazing athlete, a paralympic champion competing in sit ski slalom and discus throw. He also loves watersports and skydiving. Makis wants to inspire people with disabilities and people without disabilities, to exercise and participate in sports.
We first met at Spetsathlon Triathlon Race 2 years ago, during which he completed with ease the cycling race of 25KM around Spetses island.

There is no need to restate all the physical and mental wellbeing benefits from exercising and the fact that the endorphine rush acts as a natural anti-depressant.

But most important, through sports, all of us can open up opportunities for friendship building and meaningful interactions. Thank you for that Maki, meeting you that day in Spetses was far more impactful and meaningful for me than you can imagine. 🙏

Keep using your gifts for the benefit of the world 💪
