Naga Shakti — “snake strength” in Sanskrit brings women and snakes together through caution, curiosity, and trust. Both are often feared and vilified. Here, neither is conquered nor reduced to a symbol.
Rooted in South Asian traditions that honor snakes as sacred and associate them with feminine divinity, protection, and renewal, this work asks what becomes possible when fear gives way to care. Choosing trust over control becomes an act of rebellion and a vision of a freer, more loving world. We imagine that world as matriarchal, where we are free.
