Marking Women's International Day! 🌟 LFDA achieves a milestone with Lebanon's FIRST Women's League Tournament, where our remarkable female athletes participated in. 💪🏽 The event united players from AUB team, LAU team, Hyenas team, and Cedars, forming mixed teams for a one-day league that lasted four hours. "I love the women's tournament," expressed Marielle. "It's empowering to see women handlers and cutters orchestrating the entire game." In another comment, Heba shared, "Witnessing the growing number of female players embracing ultimate frisbee brings a heartwarming touch to this moment! 🥏" "What's happening in Lebanon is BIG," Lynn remarked, "but our Women's Day celebration feels incomplete without acknowledging the freedom and safety of the ultimate female players in neighboring Palestine 🇵🇸. Our thoughts and prayers are with @ultimatepalestine ." #womeninsports #ultimate #ultimateteam #ultimatefrisbee #ceasefire

🏆 MENA isn't just a tournament; it's a cherished family reunion. This year's ultimate frisbee journey threw challenges our way: players leaving due to economic collapse, captain's sudden departure, regional tensions, and the impact of Gaza war. A week before MENA, five key players sidelined due to visa issues, injuries, and security concerns in Lebanon!!! Yet, we stood strong, giving our all, securing 13th place out of 20. 🥏💪 Our journey continues with self-taught determination. Beyond conlmpetition, this trip was a heartwarming reunion, bringing a breath of fresh air and filling us with warmth. 🌟 It also gave us the chance for a proper goodbye to each other. We are grateful to @beirutblitz for immediately responding to our call for additional players when we faced unexpected shortages. Special thanks to @alexandresaab and @patricksaber05, who skipped their work to catch up with us🫡❤️ . Another big thank you to Alex Bazrji, who joined us all along the tournament.
