Let’s take a moment to appreciate some of the tester photos for the Playdate Tee Lite. 😍 This was such a fun group of knitters and it’s always so exciting to see the progress and finished tees at the end!

20% off the pattern ends TONIGHT! The DK and kids versions are included in the sale as well. Comment “lite” if you want links sent to your inbox. 🥰

I didn’t properly address these beauties in my post yesterday…these are the Coffee Bean Sock pattern by @kneedlesandlife knit for me by @chelsayoder 🧡🤎🤍🩷 Kalley is updating and re-releasing this pattern soon with the new heel you see here. They’ll be making their sample debut at the @carolinafiberfest next weekend! Come check them out in person!

This colorway is called ‘Parthena’ named after my husband’s great-grandmother. The orange-brown comes from exhausted pear tree bark from a tree that belonged to Parthena. It never bore fruit because it didn’t have a mate. We trim a few branches or collect storm damage to make this color. The pink you see comes from Lac extract. I’ll have more of this version and the first dye of the pear bark with me.

Holiday shopping is upon us! Please keep us (and other small businesses) in mind as you shop this year! Am@zon is doing just fine 😉 We’ve got books and journals, fountain pens and inkwells, games, puzzles, and organic cotton stuffies! Plus other artisan goods that support local makers and purveyors in our community!
And if shopping isn’t your thing, come play a game of chess, work on our community puzzle, have a white mocha, gather, commune, be together! We hope to see you soon!

More tester pics. 💛

The best part of designing for me is seeing other people make what you came up with in your head. Seeing all the different sizes and colors come to life is so rewarding and exciting!

Ray of Sunshine Tee is available on Etsy and Ravelry. 💛

I don’t usually stitch other people’s patterns, but I couldn’t resist this one from my pal @beksstitches as a gift for a dear friend’s daughter! 🩷

Swipe for a look at a cutie pie one year old opening her present 🥳

My community I have built is made up of artists, educators, farmers, family, friends-who’ve-become-family, and just some genuinely good people. There’s no way I could picture them all here, but they’ve helped shape me, and they’ve helped shape Cesium Yarn. I’m so thankful for this amazing group of people, and to know that they’ve all got my back. I love you all so much, even the ones I’ve yet to wrap my arms around and demand a picture with ♥️
