This past Memorial Day, we (@belovedworldwide_ ) were honored to be given an opportunity to be present at @jazzreggaefest, where the garments met the people.

Different generations. Different backgrounds. Different walks of life.

Yet there was understanding without needing explanation.

Hands reached for the fabrics. Conversations formed naturally. People took their time.

For a moment, individuals unified..sharing the same space through curiosity, presence, love and appreciation.

That is something we do not take lightly, especially in times where the majority of us are laboring through more than what can be seen.

May the work continue to honor the people as faithfully as the people have honored the work.

A world built through love, told through garments. 🫶🏽🫡

Usually something I’d post on my other account, but I want to publicly thank the universe for protecting me through this undergraduate journey across the country. It is difficult being so far away from home, but everyday at UCLA I’m reminded of the beauty in my life🧘🏾‍♀️! My academics, my athletics, my friends, my newfound family… there is so much love, light, and laughter I experience from coast to coast, and I truly just couldn’t feel more blessed ❤️! So I just want to thank all of the people who continue to make my time at UCLA so special (obviously not everyone is featured here but y’all know who you are!). Wishing y’all peace, blessings, and more mf life ❤️‼️
