This week, I was surprised with a postcard from Chengdu, China 🇨🇳.

It read:

Dear Aupal Emmanuel,

"Today is 28 July 2026. It’s been three years since the opening of the Chengdu FISU Games. Great to be your friend!"

Thank you, @chengdu_china ❤️.

I also acknowledge the receipt of the invitation to tour the City of Chengdu Again. I know we will meet soon again. You are the best thing that ever happened to me 🫶🏿.

With love from Uganda 🇺🇬. We will continue cherishing the past and look forward to celebrating the future together.

The person who created this theme park is a true genius. 👏✨

Kunming’s Little People Kingdom is more than a place to visit — it’s a place that promotes equality, respect, and inclusion, where everyone can be seen and valued.

In honor of the World University Games happening this week in Germany, I’ve been thinking back to my time at WUG in Chengdu. It was truly one of the most rewarding and unforgettable experiences I’ve ever had the privilege to be part of. The atmosphere, the people, and the memories made it something really special.

Wishing the best of luck to everyone competing in Germany — enjoy every moment!

74 players from Sochi, Moscow, Krasnodar, Maykop, Rostov-on-Don, Ufa, Ramenskoye, Alchevsk, Magadan, Uganda 🇺🇬, China 🇨🇳 took part in this one day event.

I personally won two out of five games (2/5) played.

It was a great exposure tournament as we played with some of Russia's 🇷🇺 Table Tennis finest.
