Can’t even begin to express how much happiness was felt in one meal. Looking back at these pics of the pasta @chef.chennie and I had from @bancone.pasta is giving me lots of joy! We ordered:

🥚 Silk handkerchiefs, walnut butter & confit egg yolk- the butter and the yolk combined was so rich! There was a lovely crunch with the walnuts when we took a bit of the pasta.

🐟 Cornish cod, tagliatelle, tomato, caper, olive. The sauce was a lot thicker than I thought but I really liked it! I cannot express how INCREDIBLE that fish tasted and the texture? It flaked instantly as I touched it- confit to perfection. Genuinely can’t put it to words how beautiful the fish was!!!

🧀 Burrata, salt baked beetroot, basil oil. This is the first time I’ve had burrata AND beetroot. I knew I’d LOVE burrata but that beetroot…. It must be Bancone’s magic touch to it but I am a CONVERT. It was so delicious!!

If you are in London, pleaseeee make your way to Bancone and book in advance!! You will not be disappointed!

A whole dedication post for the incredible breakfast we had at @boxcarbaker 🥐

The BEST BEST BEST cinnamon swirl I have ever tasted. It had a caramelised top and bottom so it had a crunch and that sticky caramel chew! Incredible. And look at just how beautiful their take on pain au chocolat looks- is it even real??? Yes it is!

Would 1000% recommend going a little earlier in the morning to catch the fresh bakes. Amazing!

Unreal roast from @neepsendsocial last weekend. We ordered the sirloin beef and lamb leg as the meats for the roast. Those meats were THICC, juicy and tasty. And look at the beautiful presentation! We also ordered a white bait on the side and it was crispy, perfectly spiced and not fishy at all! Would highly recommend a trip down for your Sunday feasting!

Edit: defo deserve a cheeky bar tab considering we’ve been featured!!! @neepsendsocial

Great catch up over dinner with @chef.chennie at @noodleinncentro in Sheffield. Honestly, these dishes were incredible. We ordered the braised pork belly and preserved vegetables in a clay pot, green beans friend with minced pork and sichuan pepper, and maple tofu. Wasn’t the biggest fan of sichuan- it’s a numbing feeling rather than spice. But the pork belly and beans were UNREAL!

Lunch date with @chef.chennie and her other half last weekend ☀️ took a trip to @northtownkitchen and it was deeeelicious! We ordered the spicy ragu pasta, Sicilian pesto pasta and a spicy nduja pizza slice. The pizza was so soft and crispy on the edges, and the pasta had THE PERFECT bite 🍝🍕
