BlackTober 🧡

This journey of project so far has been unreal. So many refreshing conversations, new experiences and exciting environments that have really inspired my love for my craft.

Hours and hours of planning and coordination have been worth every step. We are in November but if anything I’m glad- it’s taught me not to rush, to sit in the project and enjoy the journey (Ibr yall ain’t seeing these till 2026 but I have a plan haha)

For now, meet your first 15 features on the project - super talents who have inspired me and reignited my flame again. You are all so special and it’s been an honour! I have loved capturing all of you and orchestrating all the different creative directions. It’s been the challenge I so needed and to be able to narrate your stories is a dream.

A few takeaways so far:
• Give yourself and others grace
• If all fails in life, might start a dance career🤣
• When you need inspiration or encouragement, turn to your community
• You’re in control of your destiny - realign with what YOU want
• Creativity has no limitations

2025 Birthday 🎉

This year, instead of throwing a party like I usually do, I chose to give thanks. Earlier in the year, during prayer, God told me this would be a year of gratitude. I didn’t know then that I’d lose my dad just two months before my birthday. 💔

So I stepped away from it all and went on a spiritual retreat with a few close friends, a gospel hike, worship, and spending my entire birthday in God’s presence. It was exactly what my soul needed. 🙌🏾

In the midst of grief, there have been so many blessings, including getting my Raven… my car (as the first driver!). It might not mean much to others, but for me, it’s a big win. A quiet promise kept.

This birthday was different. It was sacred. And I’m grateful for every moment.

Five years. Five years of hard work, creative blocks, late nights, and answered prayers. Five years of pushing through doubt, growing in faith, and working with incredible clients & peers. It hasn’t always been easy, but I wouldn’t be here without God’s strength and an amazing support system. Here’s to five years; and to everything that’s still to come! 💜
