A gluten free bakery moved into an old Columbus post office, and Saturday is its one day Nostalgic Treat menu. Two more spots below.

Bake Me Happy, Merion Village. Nostalgic Treat Saturday, Oct 24. Sweet Potato Latte at Whittier.
BIBIBOP, Columbus. Whole menu gluten free, tamari instead of soy sauce.
Cherbourg Bakery, Bexley. No wheat ever used in its kitchen. The weekend strata sells out first.

Sipping my way through Columbus… with a little something sweet from @cherbourgbakery in Bexley! ☕️🍪🤎

Fun fact: When we got married one year ago, we skipped the traditional wedding cake and served COOKIES from Cherbourg Bakery instead! And they were a HUGE hit. 🥹

As someone with a nut allergy, finding a bakery that’s nut-free is such a gift. Cherbourg is also gluten-free. We loved being able to share a wedding treat that our guests with food sensitivities/allergies could enjoy, too!

And if you haven’t tried their fall flavors yet, especially anything pumpkin, you’re missing out. 🎃🍂

Grab a coffee, treat yourself to a few baked goods, and thank me later!

Ohio’s biggest city has some fantastic dedicated gluten-free bakeries, and many celiacs might not even know about them!

📍 Bake Me Happy (Schumacher Place):
They have a strict rule: no gluten-containing ingredients in the kitchen, ever. You have to try the Peanut Butter Burner – it’s what a Little Debbie Nutty Bar *should* taste like. Just remember, they’re closed on Mondays.

📍 Cherbourg Bakery (Bexley):
This bakery is dedicated gluten-free AND nut-free. According to them, no wheat has ever entered their kitchens. They close at 1:30 PM, and their display case often empties out before that, so plan to go early!

Thank you for 100 followers! I love being able to share my knowledge and share content to help others feel safe and confident in their food choices. Soon I will be going back to school and I will be sharing what it’s like to be a college athlete and navigating celiac. If you have any questions that you would like me to answer about any part of my journey, leave them in the comments below!
I also tagged some of my favorite brands and places to eat!
