BROOKLYN!!! THANK YOU!!!

We had an absolute blast celebrating the launch of It’s Okay to Try Issue 003: The Play Issue at @fishseddy DUMBO with you! This issue has taught us what it means to embody play, and if we’ve learned one thing, it’s that you can’t play on your own. It takes community!

A huge thank you to Fish’s Eddy and @tjwisco for hosting and for playing such a vital role in this issue. For being friend and supporter across time and space.

NYC, thank you for playing with us. LA, you’re next!!

A year ago, I moved to London and the last errand I ran in NY was developing this disposable camera from @manual_nyc. @cheriecamacho gifted all of us at Glossier these chic cameras in 2021 as the world was opening up again. This year has felt heavy and this tiny time-capsule of the first months of life opening up again makes me feel the tiniest sense of possibility. Holding on to that feeling tightly amidst all the grief.

Last week we gathered around a table with @remymartin for an end of year dinner we called THE RESET.

A room with Real people & Real conversation.

We talked about new energy going into the year.
Where culture actually is right now.
Why third spaces matter more than ever.
What we’re carrying forward.
And what we’re finally leaving behind.

Out of that room, Precious Alike, @stephgotch & I formally launched something we’ve been building on called
New Faces.

New Faces is a full service strategic partner for innovators across tech, sport, fashion, wellness, and art.

But really, it’s about people.

Helping builders get clear.
Helping ideas grow legs.
Helping leaders earn trust.
Creating better roadmaps for today and tomorrow.

Less noise. ( no pun )
More intention.
More infrastructure for the people actually shaping what’s next.

We’re excited to keep building in 2026 and to work alongside more folks who care about impact, not just output.

And just to say it plainly

We’re Readyyyyy!

Thank you @andreuncut for the amazing photos
Our amazing Host @destinysantvna who worked with us
And @bytanima on video ( coming shortly )
