| Shanna…I just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you to you and your podcast @saucy.not.bossy. EP19 - 𝐺𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑓, 𝐻𝑒𝑎𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑔 & 𝐻𝑜𝑤 𝑡𝑜 𝐶𝑜𝑝𝑒 was exactly the episode I needed with my dad’s second I'd like to call it "heaveniversary" coming up.

Hearing how you’re coping with the recent loss of your beloved momma and the perspective @cherienassi shared for anyone dealing with grief in different ways, helped me more than I can put into words.

I’m not a very social person - I struggle with talking to people in person or on the phone. Most of the time I deal with things on my own. And like you said, reaching out doesn’t always come easy.

I did in fact reach out to you a few times. So I especially want to thank you for taking the time to respond to me, even while you’re going through so much grief yourself. You probably don’t realize how much that meant to me but it really did.

What Cherie said about grief coming back up when you push it down…that really stayed with me. I’ve felt it coming up in the most unexpected moments. During a workout, hearing a random song or even during my vacation last year, watching the sunset on the Santa Monica Pier.

And hearing more about your story also reminded me how lucky I was to have a dad like mine. I’m truly sorry you didn’t get to experience that kind of love from yours.

Thank you for creating a space where people feel seen, understood and a little less alone 🤍

@shannaferrigno returns to @saucy.not.bossy for her first episode back after the loss of her mother, Carla—the inspiration behind the podcast—for a raw and honest conversation about grief, healing, and moving forward. ✨

Joined by her longtime friend and licensed marriage and family therapist @cherienassi with @nassicounseling - Shanna opens up about personal loss while they dive into anticipatory grief, trauma, and the emotional impact of losing a loved one. 😔

Together, they break down practical grief coping strategies, how to build emotional resilience, and why having a strong support system and community is essential during the healing process.🤍

@cherienassi also shares expert insight into navigating grief, processing trauma, and the tools people need to begin healing and finding peace after loss.

If you are dealing with grief, loss, or trauma—or supporting someone who is—this episode offers real talk, expert advice, and actionable steps to help you move forward.

Making learning fun is crucial because it boosts engagement, motivation, and memory retention. When learning is enjoyable, students are more likely to actively participate, take risks, and retain information more effectively. Fun activities also stimulate the release of dopamine, a neurotransmitter associated with pleasure and reward, which further strengthens learning and memory.

Fun learning environments also reduce stress and anxiety, allowing students to learn more effectively.

Fun learning experiences can create positive attitudes towards learning, making students more receptive to new knowledge and skills.

A good mood and fun experiences have been shown to increase cognitive flexibility, allowing students to approach learning with a more open and adaptable mindset.

Fun activities can captivate attention and make it easier for students to concentrate on learning tasks.

Fun learning encourages students to take ownership of their learning process and become more self-motivated and independent learners.

I can keep going…
