September is Suicide Prevention/Awareness Month 😊

Suicidal ideation has played a major role in my life. My mental health caused me to grow up fast, and was a factor in every decision I’ve made since middle school. Thankfully, I’ve been blessed with wonderful people who have supported me in every way possible— from family and friends to teachers and coaches.

Pictured here are a few moments and people who have helped me along the way. I also added a photo of that tattoo on my right wrist that reminds me to continue every day. The “i” is replaced by a semicolon. A semicolon is used when a writer could have ended a sentence, but chose to keep going. The semicolon reminds me that there is more to my story.

I thank God every day for this life that I get to live. You matter. 🩵💜

Wrapping up my high school season, I can confidently say track has been one of the greatest blessings in my life. It has given me so much more than times and medals - it has taught me resilience, consistency, sportsmanship, discipline, grit and more. I am beyond thankful for my coaches, teammates, competitors, and other area coaches for providing an amazing support system for me throughout all my highs and lows. (Like literally falling at the most important meets😭..) I will carry these memories with me forever. Proverbs 16:3 ❤️🐾

My senior season definitely ended how I hoped
(300m hurdles) ~ undefeated regular season, District champ, Regional + STATE runner up, marked 3x WCAL champ

Eternally grateful for Norwayne Track & Field ❤️🥹

As someone who thought softball was always the path, I considered track a pastime. Track was never my plan, but I’m SO glad it was God’s plan. The last 6 years were a blessing— bringing life lessons, memories and lifelong friendships. Thank you to all my teammates and coaches for everything you’ve done for me over the past 6 years. Thank you Norwayne Track & Field. ❤️
