News Flash📸: Cherish-Faye is going to NDF Vol. 4 this weekend!

Excited participate in social dancing, line dance lessons, and worshops on how to become a better instructor.

Can't wait to collaborate with all the worldwide line dance instructors & line dancers. This is going to be fun :).

I will also be volunteering for this event too so feel free to say hi if you see me helping out.

Who knows, next go around you might see me listed as an instructor! But for now, I'll enjoy dressing up and line dancing with new people all day everyday YEEHAW🤠.

I didn't let me anxiety win, younger Cherish-Faye would be so proud.

I have many passions, one of them being a dance instructor for the longest but because I have such bad anxiety/social anxiety, I didn't believe I would be able to have all eyes on me, leading a class without freezing up, stuttering, or just being awkward so I settled with just being a dancer because I didn't have to talk.

But...

I still love helping people and to do that I couldn't say "no" to every opportunity my anxiety held me from.

So one day I decided to stop self sabotaging and start saying yes to things my anxiety would say no to because...

I am more than just my anxiety. The more I try new things, the more comfortable I get in new situations.

Here I am pursuing something that still bring me anxiety BUT even more...brings me joy and a sense of accomplishment🙂

I love watching my students smile and feel accomplishment after learning from my own teaching style and that feeling is something I never want to let go of ♡

A.B.S Competition📽 Day w/ CDF Line Dance Crew [1.10.2026]

What a way to start off the year.

I am incredibly proud of my crew for stepping outside their comfort zones—learning a new style of choreography, dancing in a louder and brighter environment than they're used to. And they only did it for me, because they love me as much as I love them.

I knew I wanted to enter so I tried recruiting and my sis and cousin volunteered to help! They aren't steppers but they know country, and what better way to spend our short time together than this!

I choreographed a trailride-western mixed line dance, we narrowed down the song, had a fun outfit shopping day, and rehearsed. 4-5 days later, we weren't perfect but we were excited to enjoy what we created.

We walked in ready to shine. After a few hrs we did feel nerves, but we pushed through. We smiled, focused and committed to the choreography–not missing a step!
I felt grateful—grateful that I got to dress up, dance with people who love me, and having my aunt and mom there cheering :)

Now we understand/welcome feedback as a team. However, the feedback we got was focused solely on criticism and extended beyond what felt constructive. I wish there were comments on our choreography, song choice, outfits—which was part of the comp I was looking forward to hearing.

We didn’t mind not advancing, we more hoped to leave the stage feeling well rounded with responses which we did alittle but near the end my crew left feeling unseen and targeted. We dance as a team and we want to be spoken to as a team.

On a good note, we appreciate everyone who approached us afterward with encouragement and balanced feedback. We value advice and critiques from people who lead with kindness and just want to see us suceed through ups and downs.😌

At the end of the day we just wanted to have fun and spent this week together before going back to our separate careers which you know I enjoyed myself with the amazing DJ they had!

You’ll see this trio again! Thank you MzWaters & Skeatur & A.B.S for choosing us to perform. CONGRATS to Heavy Hitters and Pretty Stampede!!🎉 I am rooting for y'all!!

Line Dancing is suppose to be low impact. Why is this line dance high key medium impact😮‍💨? We tired!
