Royal call selfies! Lots of them! 😂🔥

When you’re at the American Royal and your friends keep hearing their names called, you take pictures. A LOT of pictures.

A whole lot of smiles, hardware, and damn good BBQ teams celebrating some well-earned success.

Pretty cool getting to be part of these moments and celebrate alongside some great people.

Until next year, Royal! 🔥🏆

Day 1 of the Royal is done. 🔥

Invitational ✔️

Congrats to everyone who heard their name today!

We had a hell of a time spending the day alongside @cherryanchorbbq and Bone Rubbin Bbq, helping where we could and taking it all in.

Out of respect for both teams, we’ll let Cherry Anchor and @mattbergen209 share their own results when they’re ready.

Then we got to have a little fun of our own with the our dessert turn-in, we will share photos once results are in.

Long day. Good people. A whole lot of BBQ.

Tomorrow we do it all over again. 🔥

Blame it on the rain. 🌧️😂

Gotta love American Royal weather.

Nothing says competition BBQ quite like setting up camp and realizing you’ve accidentally secured waterfront property. 😂

Luckily, it looks like this mess is moving out and we should have clear skies for cooking.

For now, though… riverfront accommodations at the Royal. 🔥

Bernie’s BBQ Competed at the @woodland_ribsand_rods Woodland Ribs and Rods competition yesterday. We had a great day, cooking our way to a Second Place call. Congrats to @3gcompetitionbbq on their First Place call and @smokin_colt on their Fourth Place call. It was a fun day with great people. Additionally big shout out to @cherryanchorbbq and @mattbergen209 for their support and having the People’s Choice side of the house locked down so I could concentrate on the Comp Ribs.
