Dundas | Reception BTS

An insight into the making of a reception defined by texture, rich colour and considered detail.

From the installation of flowing champagne and warm nude drapery to the placement of statement florals in crisp white, blush, burgundy and copper tones, each element was carefully brought together to create a space of understated opulence.

A behind-the-scenes glimpse into the craftsmanship, layering and thoughtful design that transformed the reception into an atmosphere of refined luxury.

Kirsten + Thomas, St Andrews. 🍂

This was the most beautiful autumnal day, styled to perfection across two of our favourite spots in Fife.

St Andrews played a huge role in the lives of these two, so after their ceremony at St Salvators, we snuck onto (due to Martyna’s sweet-talking) the 18th of the Old Course before hitting the road to join the party back at Cambo.

A wonderful wedding day, full of joy and SO great to work with some of our favourite Scottish suppliers. ♥️

✨ A stationery suite made for a fairytale setting ✨

We were delighted to create the full wedding stationery for this beautiful celebration at Carlowrie Castle — from the save the dates and statement pop-up invitation, through to the on-the-day stationery.

Every detail was thoughtfully designed to bring the couple’s vision to life, with romantic florals, elegant detailing and a touch of castle magic. 🤍🏰

A beautiful suite for a truly beautiful day. Beautiful photos from @kkotkiewiczweddings

What a stunning day for Fiona and Ross’s wedding at Carlowrie Castle. You could just feel the love in the room. A chance meeting in Jinty McGinty’s was the start of something special although their first date was almost sabotaged by a sub crawl hangover! They survived and life led them through the ordinary day to day moments that build a relationship alongside holidays, house moves, proposal at the Ritz.. on their wedding day they had a veritable team of supportive bridesmaids and groomsmen including gorgeous flower girls. Of course star of the show was their fabulous son Ben who was a page boy. He wasn’t that impressed with my chat though and slept through the ceremony. Fair!
Our fantastic photographer @jenniferglen.photography kindly allowed me to capture a wee pic during her photoshoot! Stunning flowers by @libertyblooms !
Redcoat Richard also insisted on getting in on the act!

Another birthday, another loop around the sun! ☀️

As I reflect on the journey that’s brought me here, I’m filled with gratitude for every twist and turn along the way. From a challenging childhood to the life I get to live today, it’s been quite a ride. This past year has been a whirlwind: planned a wedding 💍🏰🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿, purchased a new home 🏡, moved to a new city 📦, stepped into a leadership role at work, raised our blended family, and juggled all those everyday to-dos that keep life interesting.

And now, I’m also a wife—no longer doing things alone, but with a lifetime partner by my side, ready to share the journey and all of life’s roller coaster rides.

Through all the busyness, I’ve learned to appreciate the little moments of joy and cherish the chaos and beauty in everyday life. I’m grateful for the lessons, the memories, and the people who have cheered me on. Another candle, another wrinkle, another gray hair—and I wouldn’t trade a single one for the world.

As the next chapter begins, I’m ready for whatever surprises and joys await. Here’s to living with grace and welcoming the moments that make everything worthwhile 💜

THIS. IS. 51.
