-GRATEFUL-

It’s been 1 week since their car accident.

Both cars totaled and the other driver and my girls came out safely with minor injuries. Hannah had a slight whiplash, bruising on her neck, ribs, hips, and back, and major soreness. Selah had a black eye and a cut just below, bruising on her ribs and hips, and major soreness.

Already being super protective over my kids, getting that phone call from them to “come now, Mommy, please” broke me. But hearing them tell me how they cared for each other in the car melted my heart.

This picture was taken 2 days after the accident, on Selah’s Birthday. Seeing them interact with each other now is so sweet and tender.

I love you so much @_hannah._p @selahportillo 💜💗
