And after our trip to the museum, we had brunch @eatwithbacari and had their @dinela menu. I had shawarma tacos and roasted Brussels sprouts plus a custard for dessert. Their watermelon Bacarita is refreshing. #sundayfunday

Birthday celebration continued Saturday night for my youngest sister @xchavira. PSA: If you’re the designated driver, don’t order the Casa Azul. It’s delicious but HUGE!

Fun Thursday night at the @thekiaforum to see Modern English, Soft Cell and Simple Minds. Great show and I definitely do not regret seeing them on a school night. #concert #80smusic #newwavemusic #livemusic

My fourth year going to @cruelworldfest and despite the drizzle for what seemed like two hours, I had a wonderful time on Saturday. Most of the British bands said they brought England's weather to LA.
I didn't take a rain jacket so I used the towel I usually take to sit on as my rain barrier. Luckily there was no threats of lightning like two years ago and the drizzle never turned to a rainshower. Saturday's lineup was just marvelous! Some bands I've seen many times but won't dare miss them: OMD & New Order. Others I haven't seen in years and glad I saw them again: Alison Moyet, Garbage and The Go-Gos. These three were definitley my highlights. It was my first time seeing Blancmange and The Buzzcocks and neither disappointed me. Can't wait for Cruel World 5! #britishnewwave #goth #80smusic #concert #musicfestival #music #livemusic #cruelworld

Great evening for a @dodgers baseball game. It was Ohtani t-shirt night giveaway. He didn’t hit a home run but did steal a base tonight. Glad to see my friend @jazminoutdoors back from hiking the Appalachian Trail. I shopped at the outlet where evening is 75% off the retail price and bought two t-shirts for a total of $24. And a structure fire near the stadium sent black smoke billowing on the air at the start of the game. Fun night but unfortunately the Dodgers lost 3-6 to the Rockies. #baseball #mlb #itbdb #ohtani #dodgers

Neither @cherylhe nor I got to @dodgers Stadium in time to get one of the coveted @shoheiohtani bobbleheads tonight. I snapped photos of the bobblehead when the man in front of me took his out of its box. And to make matters worse, the Dodgers lost to the Reds. We left after the 7th inning stretch when the score was 4-0. In the time I walked to my car, left the stadium and drove home the Reds scored three more times. At home, I listened to the radio to hear the Dodgers scored two runs in the 9th inning before the game ended. I hope my next Dodgers game ends better in a few days….

@boygeorgeofficial & @cultureclubofficial were amazing last night. They performed their hits & covers of some of their favorite songs/musicians, unlike many 80s musicians who play new songs that no one wants to hear 😜😬. They didn’t leave and come back later for an encore. They just played right on through. I love Boy George’s tell-it like-it-is & DGAF attitude. #concert #80smusic #newwave #britishbands

It’s a school night but I couldn’t pass on seeing one of my favorite bands celebrating their 15th anniversary at a small venue. @theairbornetoxicevent sounded great and was full of energy tonight at @elreytheatre.

When @cruelworldfest was announced, I was disappointed it was only a 1-day festival. Last year, I was able to go both days and see most of the bands, including Morrissey both nights. But I guess I somewhat got my wish since I’m returning tonight after last night’s event was cut short due to lightning in the area. All the performers I saw yesterday were in top form. I definitely was disappointed that Siouxsie Sioux wasn’t able to perform last night but I’m excited to see her tonight. I had never seen Iggy Pop before so now I’ll have seen him perform twice after tonight’s show. #concert #80smusic #goth #livemusic
