Starting the year on a high note ⭐️

When I left England for Canada a year ago, I had no idea what was coming ✈️ — just one suitcase too many, some big dreams, and a whole lot of excitement for the unknown adventures ahead 🧳.

I began my journey in Vancouver, falling in love with ocean views, city life, and endless mountain backdrops 🏔️. It was the perfect place to start: a city full of opportunities, new faces to call friends, and an unending list of things to explore 🌆.

Then came Gabriola Island, where I transformed into a beach-walking, ferry-catching island gal ⛴️. It was there that I slowed down, reflected, and reconnected with nature in a way I never had before🌲.

Eventually, I found my way to the Fraser Valley. There, I worked on a family-run farm, fully immersing myself in the Canadian experience 👩‍🌾. It taught me patience, resilience, and the beauty of simplicity. More than just work, I found a community and a new sense of belonging.

In between, I journeyed through the breathtaking Canadian Rockies, captivated by crystal-clear lakes. I felt the wild energy and excitement of the Calgary Stampede 🤠 and stood in awe before the mighty Niagara Falls. In Seattle, I wandered through vibrant neighborhoods, while in Las Vegas, I reveled in the dazzling lights and non-stop thrills 🎰. And when I craved the warmth of the sun, Mexico called my name ☀️.

Most importantly, Canada allowed me to meet @cmannhofer — someone who brought unexpected joy, grounding, and love into my life 👩‍❤️‍👨. His kindness, support, and the laughter we’ve shared became the heart of my experience here. He turned a solo journey into something shared and deeply meaningful ❤️.

Now, as I arrive at London Heathrow and return home, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. This journey has shaped me in ways I could never have imagined. I’m not the same person who arrived a year ago. I’ve grown, I’ve learned, and met incredible people along the way. Every moment has shaped this chapter, and I’m so grateful for it all 💕.

Thank you, Canada! 🍁

I am an imperfect, flawed person.
.
In a world where perfection is praised, I’ve tried, with all my might to be that person everyone admires. And for some moments I was, I can be just perfect.
.
However, for me there will always be something I can improve. Some can say that is good, but wanting to be someone you’re not comes with a cost. Perfection comes with a cost. It costed my ability to be honest, to celebrate what I can do, what my imperfections helped me achieve.
My learning disability made me hyper focused in things I love and care about. My chemical brain imbalances made me able to feel more than a “normal” person can feel in a lifetime, and with it learn how to be a better human being.
.
Today I know me and I am an imperfect, flawed person. And I accept that, I am at peace with it, and I strive for nothing more than to continuing to be honest, kind, brave and till the day I die, imperfect.

Go and see the world 🌍 Forget about what people think🖕🏻And don’t be scared to meet new likeminded people 🤪

Ps. If you’re not in this video, it’s because I couldn’t find any content of us. I’m grateful for everyone I’ve met so far 🫶
