Lately, I’ve continued to explore how our approach can support educators in the spaces they lead as well. Many of our conversations today centered around how play and physical literacy can serve as an entry point for dancers to better understand their bodies, their athleticism, and the principles of PROPER strength and conditioning.

It is possible to simultaneously acknowledge their human selves AND lay solid groundwork for building capacity for performance.

When dancers are given the space to explore movement with curiosity, they begin to recognize patterns and develop a deeper awareness of how their bodies move, adapt, rest, and recover.

Grateful for the thoughtful conversations today and the community that continues to engage in this dialogue. Looking forward to continuing to develop this one together.

🙏🏼As mentioned during our seminar, providing space and room to explore and grow is paramount, so the warmest thank you to @marissatschaeffer_dpt @grossanatomystudios @dmodugno_dpt and the rest of the @flyspacept team for opening up their wonderful space. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
