After having my colour done at Daniel Galvin, I was invited to try the Hair Spa at their Kensington salon — which turned out to be more involved than I could imagine…

A bespoke treatment, some fairly space-age equipment, plenty of moisture, massage and a lesson in looking after my curls properly.

Then it was my turn. The diffuser came out…

I’d forgotten how curly my hair actually is!

Low-Tox and Non-Toxic Holiday Essentials

I'm currently working on reducing my exposure to toxic chemicals and I've found skincare, cosmetics and cleaning products the best place to start.

These are my holiday (and general day to day) essentials.
But much like everything in wellness, it's all about balance and the products on the last slide are absolutely worth using.

This marathon training block has been taking its toll and I’m trying to get better at prioritising a little bit of self care at the same time, luckily the lovely @cheseditions are here to help and this gorgeous red box was the best post run treat to come back to❤️

I’ve been using the @cheseditions edition 29 treatment oil for a few years and it keeps my hair beautifully moisturised, shiny, healthy and my scalp super healthy. I use it once or twice a week to keep it in tip top condition, essential if you blow dry like me.

It also promotes new hair growth and is super easy to use, apply it in your hair before you go to bed, tie it up and wash it in the morning and style as normal
