dear softball, what a ride it has been. 10 years of this and i’m still in shock that its all over. softball has been apart of me ever since the day i picked up a bat and hit off of coach pitch for the first time. the thrill of making contact and running for your life is one that can’t be replicated easily. if you know me, you know i’ve had a love-hate relationship with softball in the past couple years, but i honestly wouldn’t trade any of it for the world. through the ups and downs, the wins and losses, the home runs and fly balls, i found my first love. i fell in love with this sport despite it always seeming to knock me down more than it brought me up. i almost lost the game completely after quitting my sophomore year, but life just wasn’t the same without it. looking back on it all, i realize it has taught me so many life lessons that will be with me forever. if you fail, you gotta get right back on the saddle and keep trying. the next at bat is a brand new one and can have new things in store even if it doesn’t seem that way. lastly, i would like to thank all of my teammates. i know how much of a hassle i could be when i was 0-3 at the plate and things weren’t going the way i liked, but i appreciate all of you for picking me back up and keeping my head in the game. i am thankful for all of the memories i have made and the friendships i’ve created over the last 10 years of my life. thank you all for believing in me, dealing with my attitude, laughing at my jokes, and just being great friends. thank you softball. 🫶 #15out #rollbears

the season and this team has officially come to an end☹️☹️ we have grown so much together (some of us playing since t-ball time together) and have helped shaped us to who we are now! but good news, we all have a new team be with for the next summer, so we are all going to have a home!!
