💫 As someone who wanted nothing to do with #peterpan 3.5 years ago, I am so grateful that I got this chance to say goodbye to @peterpanthemusical this weekend. It was my first commercial production and challenging in so many ways. But because these shows take so long to make and run for so long, you really get to know folks differently than you do in non-profit theater. And because it is a tour, there are so many lovely people to get to know. For two of the shows this weekend, I did not refrain from approaching technicians and watched with @ben_steiny in the sound booth where I could also watch @j.marro_keys conduct on the monitor. (For the record, people have aggressively approached the technicians, so please leave them alone to do their job.) 😬 🧚 Between shows I went to dinner with a gloriously large mix of old and new cast members. For my final show I sat in the audience and enjoyed the littles around me. My last drink was with my Cali women who are also OG cast you should know and hire! ⏰ We ended with 9 original cast members: @popgoesthecultureshock @baileyfrankenberg @missshefali @_jonahbear @cheyenneomani @kurtperry41 @hannahdschmidt @tonyycollinss @leogallegos_ It takes a lot to stay with a show this long. Some of them were at the very first workshops. 💚 Thanks to everyone who worked on this show, which is a massive list, but at the top are @lonnyprice and @trinityonbroadway and @orinwolf who made the first calls that convinced me to fly to Neverland. I am so glad I did. 🐊 #peterpan #tigerlily #captainhook #wendydarling #smee #marydarling #georgedarling #michaeldarling #johndarling #tinkerbell #neverland #insteadofredface #broadwaymusical #tour #musicaltheatrelife #larissafasthorse #theatre #theater #finalstop
