At VOLTA Basel, we extended our curatorial framework by deliberately integrating two digital e-paper frames from @aelig_art into Christoph Pauschenwein’s solo presentation.

Through this integration, digital art gains a true, authentic physical presence. It ensures that digital works can be collected with absolute authenticity and permanence, seamlessly living within a space.

With a built-in authentication infrastructure, the artwork retains its true verification and originality when entering a collection. The e-paper medium provides a premium experience designed entirely around the artwork, not the device.

On a personal note, a huge compliment to the AELIG team for their exceptional dedication and shared vision in redefining the physical presence of digital art.

Apanage successfully concludes Basel Art Week.

Basel welcomed us beautifully, and we extend our sincere gratitude for an exceptional time. During Basel Art Week, Apanage exhibited Christoph Pauschenwein at VOLTA Basel.

The Swiss artist was presented within Frische!, VOLTA’s section with distinctive curatorial styles. By highlighting voices at the forefront of the contemporary art market, this curated space beautifully reflects the dedication with which Apanage represents its artists.

A profound thank you goes to our team, partners, and artists. Remember our words: together we move further than alone. And it is this shared momentum that carries us forward into the global art market.

Merci à toute l’équipe Apanage pour ces moments forts, ces rencontres inspirantes et ces échanges riches avec des artistes incroyables.

En parallèle, voir notre travail exposé sur d’immenses billboards à Larnaca et Limassol, à Chypre, restera un temps fort marquant.

Une expérience intense, pleine de perspectives et de connexions.

Mais difficile de se réveiller sans penser à celles et ceux pour qui cette période a été tout autre.

Une pensée sincère pour les familles touchées par le drame de Montana et pour ces jeunes vies tragiquement perdues.

The Apanage Gallery opened its first physical chapter on August 1st, alongside the Apanage Days, bringing a curated selection of four artists into Nio House Berlin for the month.

As a hybrid gallery, Apanage moves between the digital space and physical exhibitions, working with artists across continents while creating moments that belong to a place. With „Support Your Locals“, we anchor that vision in Berlin: celebrating German artists in a setting that connects their work to both the city and an international audience.

During the Apanage Days, we sat down with each artist, in conversations that went far beyond the works on the wall. Over the next weeks, we’ll share these behind-the-scenes look at how this first physical chapter came to life.
