🪡👔 The Pajama Game 👔🪡

It has been far too long since this wacky show to only be posting about it now but at least I'm finally getting round to it!

This show was a lot of fun, filled with feel good laughs, a bonkers plot and unhinged characters.

Before starting I had no idea what this show was about, and it's safe to say I still dont know!

"Hey There" stands to be one of my favourite songs I've gotten to sing during a show. Whereas in contrast, "A New Town Is A Blue Town" has become one of the most awkward songs to learn but once I got the hang of it, it wasn't awful! 😅

Had a blast performing alongside my PJPC Drama Group friends again, and looking forward to next year's show!

Until then, goodbye Sid Sorokin.

The Pajama Game is all sewn up! Another special show week with my wee PJPC DG family. 🎭

We’re so lucky to have such talent on and off stage, and to be surrounded by such warmth and joy. This was a bonkers show, but we loved that it was quaint and cosy. I got to tick off a bucket list item of performing a Fosse dance; perform a comedy role which I love to do; wear jammies on stage; and got to do all of that and more with so many of my favourite people. Audiences loved it, more than we expected, and we all had a fabulous week. There are no grievances to file here - the strike has been settled, the ledger is firmly locked, and the picnic is packed away. Thank you all! 🪧🧺🪡

Thank you to @kecooke2506 for the on stage photos; and @gosullivan92, @arlene_lauder and various others for the backstage photos - I guess I was too busy having fun to take any of my own photos! 📸

Squeaky secretary Gladys, signing out. 📔

A slightly delayed round up of a rather special year.

January - Brought in the new year with loved ones, and otherwise had a month of rehearsing and wedding planning. 🥳
February - Wedding planning continued with some exciting appointments, a fun night out, and meeting an idol. 🥰
March - March was filled with Anything Goes, playing a dream role surrounded by loved ones; then celebrating our Sten Do with even more loved ones. 💃
April - Turned 30, oh, and got married. A pretty special month. ❤️
May - Joined a convent in Sister Act, and celebrated two of my favourite May babies with a dance show and wine. 💒
June - Lovely dinners and drinks, and a scorching hot honeymoon trip to Greece. 🇬🇷
July - Cuddled other people’s cats, helped backstage, watched Wimbledon, and had a mini school reunion for Isla’s 30th. 🎾
August - Celebrated Kayla’s 20th, and the month we got the kittens. Had to stop every photo for the rest of the year just being kittens. 🐈‍⬛
September - Had an absolute ball with fabulous people in one of my favourite shows, and celebrated Geo’s 30th. 🌈
October - A very exciting month, including Rowena’s 30th, McFly vs. Busted, our 6 month anniversary, and Strictly live at Elstree. Unforgettable! 🪩
November - Got to be in another of my favourite shows, and had a lot of kitten cuddles. 🌱
December - Lots of festivities spent with loved ones, Panto fun, and December birthdays. 🎄

It was quite tricky not to make all photos from August onwards just cat photos. So delighted to have them light up our lives every day. A magical year of 30ths, lots of special time with family and friends, once in a lifetime experiences, lots of kitten and cat love, four shows on stage and many others backstage, and, our wedding. Thank you, 2025, and everyone in it. 🥰

Where do I even start! My time on Skidrow has been more than I could ever have imagined.
These people aren't just the ones I do shows with, they are my family 💚

Special shoutouts to @lisa.m.goldie @tommietravers @kingaidanobrien You three are the reason I get to do these shows and I am forever grateful that you trust me to do so. You have always helped me in so many ways. Times when I thought I couldn't, you said yes you can!

And to @joshwd36 for teaching us all of our harmonies, its been a pleasure getting to work with you again and the rest of our incredible band!!!

Big love to Lesley for my beautiful costumes and thank you to the tech team for help bringing it all to life.

And it wouldn't a SD show without our backstage QUEEN'S! Thank you for all the nonsense and support 🩷

To my Urchinettes, I am going to miss singing with you guys each night. We really did make the perfect team ❤️
