Last night I had the absolute pleasure of officiating as a bi-lingual MC for the Chilean Club of Adelaide's 'Fiestas Patrias' celebrations! 🎤🇨🇱🎉 What a night it was! There were superb speeches by the Vice President Mr. Juan Zuarez and the Honourable Hilton Gumbys MLC, folkloric dance performances by CuecaSA, live music by Red Tide, DJ Matias keeping the dance floor full in between acts, and delicious traditional foods and beverages. The atmosphere felt warm and of community. It was so good to see so many familiar faces, but also some that I hadn't seen in a long time. 🥹 Congratulations to the Chilean Club of Adelaide's committee members, and their volunteers for so much hard work putting on such an important event in our cultural calendar. 👏🏽 Thank you for entrusting me once again to be your MC. It's always an honour, and something I do with great pride and responsibility. 🤍
