One week from today, we touchdown on the familiar turf of Norco, CA to defend our Title! We hope for a strong, competitive showing, healthy players, and advancing out of the group stage to finals in July. A couple of these teams are familiar to us, and one is a new foe. Last tournament as *this* particular unit, with these amazing girls, before the age realignment has us looking a lil’ different in the fall. We are so proud to be returning to GA playoffs a #1 seed, back to back conference champs, and reigning National champs, but as we’ve said all year, the target is on our back! Everything earned, nothing given. We’ve got this! @girlsacademyleague @chicagofcuga #californialove☀️❤️ #goinbacktocali

As a Bears fan, it physically hurts me to say this… but the Packers are doing something right. 🐻⬇️

Micah Parsons recently was quoted as saying the Packers have a hard nine-month rule for ACL returns — and the literature agrees. Returning before 9 months puts graft incorporation at risk and outcomes suffer.

Nine months isn’t a suggestion. It’s the science. Even Packer fans get that one right. 😅

Road to repeat goes through Grand Rapids! Travel night tomorrow and 10am kickoff Saturday morning! We last faced Midwest United in our first game of the regular season last fall and escaped with a hard fought 2-1 win.
