8 of 25: A Taste of Melanin x @thezayproject
•••
As we near, 2026 - I will be sharing my most memorable experiences (25 to be exact) of 2025 - in no particular order - with a little bit of context to the moment and or my origin story.
•••
This NEW SERIES is titled DIARY OF A PROFESSIONAL HYP WOMAN ❤️‍🔥
•••
@atasteofmelanin_ - a series of free immersive events throughout Black History Month. 2025 was our second year making ATOM happen. We learned A LOT during the inaugural year in 2024 and incorporated a few changes - the biggest one being adding in our Thursday Sessions. We went from hosting 4 to 10 events and increased attendance and engagement along the way. Bringing back some goodies (Silent Disco & Hip Hop Karaoke) and introducing some new collabs (Miles & Melanin & Roller Bounce).

This was definitely a month full of connections and opportunities and we can all thank ATOM for AYEEE! Karaoke, now happening every First Friday at @stadiumphx! 🙌🏽

BIG UPS to @djacronym for keeping the vibez right at every event!

BIG S/O to our sponsors and community sponsors! @blkazrun @asuartmuseum @onyxartevents @chicchefco @zonigirls @stadiumphx @archwoodexchange @tapthatdowntown @alltheluvwings @phoenixulyp @crispcutzbarber @srpconnect @bpigives @myakaicreative @lathaphx @zybrena

Our Sicilian Greek salad is a Mediterranean fusion…..it blends the classic Greek salad (tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, feta cheese, olives, olive oil) with Sicilian flavors and ingredients from Southern Italy. 🇮🇹 Let’s not forget imported salami, prosciutto and house made basil, oregano vinaigrette by @chicchefco
