This was an answered prayer, no question.

NCYC wasn’t just an opportunity—it was one of those “okay God, I see You” moments. Serving on the social media team pulled together my love for youth, my creativity, and my heart for the Church in a way I didn’t even know how to pray for. But He knew. He showed up.

And the people? Ugh, chef’s kiss. 😘 Every single one used their gifts and talent to make the beauty of Catholicism shine. Truly the dream team.

God hears the quiet desires of our hearts…and then He goes above and beyond.
God is SO good.

2024 was a journey and a half. So much stuff happened, and I, by all means, should have been in the mental gutter by now. But God sent so many people to keep that from happening, and I am so blessed to call all of them my friends. I wouldn’t have been able to make it through without them or God. 2025, I’m charging in headfirst, and I won’t slow down. (sorry @mrag_francis i couldnt tag you in the actual post, and to anybody else i missed)

♥️🫂 “UNIFYING LOVE, WITHOUT DISTINCTION, TO THE DEAR NEIGHBOR”🫂♥️

Today was an absolutely incredible day of Campus Ministry-like things here at OLP, and one of Mr. Trubitt’s favorite days Let me walk you through it:

First, we gathered the ENTIRE school in the Aquinas Amphitheater for a beautiful ‘Dear Neighbor’ Mass and some beautiful words from Fr. Billy Zonder & music from Tim Foley + our Liturgical Choir.

Then, we invited up our very special Youth Minister guests from Catholic parishes all over the Diocese for a special blessing and to offer them some love for how well they serve the ‘Dear Neighbor!’

THEN, we invited and celebrated and congratulated our 28 President’s Volunteer Service Award recipients who garnered AT least 100 Service hours in the last 12 Months!

THENNNN We celebrated and awarded our four ‘Dear Neighbor’ Service Awards to one student from each class who has gone above and beyond in their service of the Dear Neighbor. One again, congratulations to this year’s winners: Nadia Hernandez ‘28; Ixchel Roman Medina ‘27; Faith Beltran ‘26; Yasmeen Shah ‘25!

THENNNNNNNNN we took some time to hang out with the Youth Ministers, feed them some brunch, and have some time to pour into those who pour into y’all.

And, THENNNNNNNNNNN we had a most epic 🥮 CAMPUS MINISTRY LUNCH CLUB 🥮 with warm cinnamon rolls, close to 40 of y’all, a bunch of games, awesome witness from Carli, some time to connect and share and reflect on where we find comfort in our lives.

Truly, truly was a lovely and spectacular day. And we look forward to plenty more of those!

2 Corinthians 5:17 - “So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new!”

This Bible verse means saying goodbye to all the junk that was holding you back and saying hello to a whole new you, with better attitudes, behaviors, and a closer relationship with God.

So, in simple terms, 2 Corinthians 5:17 is all about the awesome transformation that happens when you let Jesus into your life. SO LET HIM CHANGE YOUR LIFE!

SDCatholic Christmas Gala 2023
One of the most memorable moments. This was the first time seeing my sister and some old friends since I got back from Ireland. You can see my sis crying because I gave her some her some of that Irish hospitality I learned while over there!
