Today, NYLWH had the privilege of speaking with amazing primary school pupils in Ajegunle about the medical profession in their career day.

It was an opportunity to show them that medicine is more than treating illnesses—it’s about compassion, service, lifelong learning, and making a positive impact on people’s lives.

Seeing the curiosity and excitement in their eyes reminded me that every child deserves to dream big, regardless of their background. I hope our conversation inspired future doctors, nurses, pharmacists, scientists, and other professionals who will one day transform our communities.

A heartfelt thank you to the school for the warm welcome and for investing in the future of these young minds.

The future of healthcare begins with inspiring today’s children.

“A dream planted in the heart of a child today can become a life that changes the world tomorrow.”

Today we took the awareness program to the most vulnerable part of Lagos state, AJ city where smoking of illegal drugs, sedentary lifestyle, alcoholic and herbal intake is on the rise. We educated the youths through our walk against hypertension program, shared educative handbills on hypertension and finally performed health check on vulnerable youths. Together we will fight hypertension in young adult. Amen!!!!
