My life has been shaped by the love, wisdom, and protection of Black women.
They’ve been my home, my teachers, my lifelines.

I may not share their skin, but I share their stories, the late-night talks, the laughter that heals, the unspoken understanding of what it means to survive and still show up with softness.

The work I do, the spaces I hold are built from that bond. From a place of deep gratitude and fierce devotion.

I create for the ones who carried me.
For the girls growing up now, my nieces, your daughters, who deserve spaces where they don’t have to shrink, code-switch, or prove they’re worthy.

This is for them.
And this is because of them, always.

Happy Juneteenth ❤️🖤💚
