A whole year without you, and I still haven’t found the words to explain the impact that this has had on my life or just how much I miss you. The fact that I’m living in a world without you is wild. There’s so many moments that I wish you were here for. There’s so many times I think to myself, like, if I called Childers, what would he want me to do or what would he say? I still remember getting the phone call and thinking that Ishawn was lying or joking around, which is crazy in itself because who would joke about something like that? But with you, it was almost like you were indestructible. I genuinely never thought I would have to live in a world where you weren’t here. I never thought that a day would come where I would have to learn how to live without my best friend. I think about you most when I’m doing things that we used to enjoy together, like being around your mom and Kevin, watching games at your house, or even just hanging out with your friends. I wish I could call you and tell you about something crazy that happened or hear your opinion on most things. It’s bothers me that I can’t just come see you whenever I want to. I can’t make new memories with you, and that’s something I don’t think I’ll ever fully come to terms with. Grief of a best friend at such a young age is so weird because it’s something that many people don’t have to go through or have no idea how it feels, and I honestly wish that I didn’t either. Nobody really prepares you for what it feels like to lose someone who was such a big part of your life. Nobody tells you how strange it is to keep living your life while someone who meant so much to you is no longer here to live theirs. I promise you that I will never stop talking about you, never stop sharing our memories, and never let the world forget the person you were. I promise to keep your name alive and to always remind the people around me how special you were and how much you meant to me.I promise to keep showing up for the people you loved, your mom and Kevin, your best friends and family and to always make sure they know that they will never have to go through missing you alone>>>>

I promise you that I will never stop talking ab

One month without my Childy. I cherish the time we had together my friend. All the car rides, goofing off, High school together, Taco bell meet ups, hikes, hangouts and just simply talking about life. Loosing you has been a challenge but I strive to keep going for you. Childers was one of my best buddies. I could never thank him enough for always treating me with so much respect and fully loving me as a friend. I viewed him as a brother and always will. I will miss you always and I love you forever . Till we meet again my brother.
