🌪️ It’s not bad behavior… it’s an unmet need 💙

When they say your child “interrupts the class”… it hurts.
It makes you question yourself as a parent. 😔

But here’s the truth:
It’s not a discipline problem… it’s a skill deficit.

Many neurodiverse children interrupt because:
✨ They don’t know how to wait
✨ They need to communicate something
✨ Their impulsivity moves faster than their self-control

The answer isn’t more punishment…
It’s better teaching. 🧠

In ABA, we teach clear alternatives:
✋ Raise your hand
⏳ Wait for a signal
🌱 Reinforce every small win

Because every behavior… is communication.

Your child doesn’t need more pressure,
they need more support. 🤝

💜 What a day at the Disability Resource Fair 2025! 🎉

We met so many amazing families and organizations, all coming together to share resources, support, and smiles. 🌟

At ABC Testing Services, we loved chatting with parents about how our academic, behavioral, and cognitive testing can help bring clarity and peace of mind for kids, teens, and adults. 📚🧩

Big thanks to everyone who stopped by our table—you made the day extra special! 💕

Here’s to building a community where every ability shines bright! ✨

YOUR BEHAVIOR

Never regret being a #good person to the #wrong people. Your #behavior says everything about #you, and their behavior says enough about them.

🧒 Children are not born bullies. They get unconsciously trained at home. Children learn from a very young age, from observing the adults around, that it's power and authority that gets things done. Very few are exposed to conscious adult behaviour.
•
👩 Power and authority are natural energies that flow from up to down. I like to call it the waterfall effect.
For example: Boss yells at employee. Employee comes home and removes the frustrated energy on the wife. Wife get angry and explodes at the child. Child can't express so releases that energy in school with peers.
What if, instead of reacting, the boss was more conscious?
What if, instead of seething, the employee, resolves his emotion BEFORE going home?
The family is spared the drama and peace reigns.

A school curriculum that incorporates social-emotional well-being will ideally prevent depression, anxiety, increase life satisfaction, encourage social responsibility, promote creativity, foster learning and even enhance academic achievement.
————————————————————————-Students need to be equipped with the knowledge & skills on how to identify their EMOTIONs as well as understand their own mental health from an early age. ————————————————————————
UNDERSTANDING the importance of emotional wellbeing will help our kids to develop RESILIENCE, adaptability and flourish when faced with the unprecedented challenges of the life. ————————————————————————When students are supported by a web of CARING adults, they are better able to process and heal from ADVERSE childhood events that can INTERFERE with their learning, and are more likely to come to school every day, stay in school and graduate positive outcomes that benefit all of us. ————————————————————————-
