Park Bagging is one of the many non-competitive bicycle groups here in Vancouver helping to get more people on bikes and build the cycling community.

The group is very friendly and inclusive and you’ll be welcomed with open arms if you’re joining for the first time. It’s a great way to meet new people and talk bikes.

🚨 Attention all BC Cyclists 🇨🇦 We need your help

There is a legislative committee reviewing the no fault insurance system and they are accepting written feedback. LINK IN BIO. (I accidentally called it a survey)

If you know about the no fault system, you know how frustrating it can be for cyclists to get the necessary care from ICBC. ICBC has all the power to determine what your injuries are worth and how much they will pay.

We have personally heard horror stories of cyclists hit by motorists who were 100% at fault and still struggled to get the necessary care from ICBC. It’s described as a “take it or leave it” situation and when these injuries can be life altering…this is a serious matter.

Now we are not saying that the old tort system was perfect, but it had its advantages to at least being able to fight for your long term pain and suffering and care. With the no fault system it’s you Vs ICBC and whatever they choose is right.

There isn’t a clear solution right now, but fighting for better care and more rights for vulnerable road users to get the care we need is important 🙏 Active transportation users shouldn’t be punished when we are the ones more at risk on our roads.

Some called it the collab of the year and it truly felt like it 🥰 What a lovely ride, thank you all for coming and for bringing the best vibes! And those new to gravel, for being brave enough to explore some of our favourite trails with us! 💪🏻
