TWENTY TWENTY FIVE: The Year of New Beginnings

This year has certainly been a busy year with not only working on many projects, but also achieving new firsts in film, stage, radio, and behind the scenes throughout!

Starting off the year with @screen.south 48 Hour Film Challenge being a part of @glad_you_came_film_2025 which won 3rd place as well as being screened at @folkestonefilmfest, before working with @askhat_shmanov and @yg_lins on “Tourist Photo”.

Then it was time to work with @canterburyshakespeare in two different productions: “Cherry Orchard” in April and then “Emperor of the Moon” in August playing two very different roles with amazing casts!

Between those were a whole range of game shows: seeing the episode of “Silence is Golden” that I was in on @uanddave_ ; and going head to head with @officialmaxmeadows on @solitarysixty (and ending up being locked in a cage for an hour!).

I closed off the year with a Scratch Night performance of “Sweet Tender Hooligan” written by @motormouseproductions and performed at the @makingmorewaves festival; and a short film with @notchristailor, @gareth___llewellyn and @officialmaxmeadows in the first collaboration between @lumaxstudiosuk and @icebear.productions with many more to come!

But the absolute best parts of 2025 were releasing my first self produced short film @chillthemovie onto YouTube and screening it at @theashfordcinema; and having the film’s prop bags on stage at the @bemorechillmusical 5 Year Concert! A massive thanks to @scott_folan and @tealmoonproductionsltd for giving me that amazing opportunity, as well as being able to meet @mrjoeiconis himself!

I am very much looking forward to seeing what 2026 offers, especially with my new agents @tagamanagement on my team.

📣 ACTORS SHOUT OUT 📣
Local actor @luke.a.milligan & @lumaxstudiosuk are currently producing a *FEATURE FILM* based on a proof of concept short film (inspired by a musical) that they released into YouTube back in May.

You can watch the proof of concept film at:
https://youtu.be/8qQXlg7wE6w

This is also linked via our Kent Actors website www.kentactors.co.uk (📎 Link in bio)

And you can find them on socials with @chillthemovie

The feature film will be more of an original story than their proof of concept, as well as be the first big budget project produced by production company: @lumaxstudiosuk

Erm!!!! Thought I'd post this here because. Heh. Well. This is my silly account... THANK U FOR EVERYONE WHO WAS THERE TODAY AT THE ARTS THEATRE WATCHING BE MORE CHILL AND SIGNED MY SILLY LITTLE BOOK!!! I'M SO HAPPY! After all, I feel like the fandom is such a huge part of the musical's history, so to me, it was just as important to get signed by other fans :3 we're like family yannow.... Crazy stuff, really. If you had told me in 2016 at the age of 12 that I'd not only meet someone who likes Be More Chill (waaat?? i'm not da only freak liek dat??) but that I'd have an entire book full of signatures, I'd sob my stupid little eyes out (evidence of stupid little me eyes on last slide hehehe). Which is indeed what I'm up to right meow!!! Huge shoutout to my very own Michael Mell aka my amazing cooler than a vintage cassette as well as epiclasagna with sigmasauce bro @sam_smith_but_not who uprooted and on a whim agreed to come with me to London for a night!!!! And also!!!! Got my poster signed!!!!! I fucking love this guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Another shoutout goes to @fifty_3rd who made those gorgeous gorgeous keychains and ofc to the sweet stranger who gave out tiny axolotls and AGAIN TO EVERYONE WHO SIGNED!!!! If u look reeeeally close you can even see some cast member signatures mixed in with the fans heheh x3c

Anymeooow.... The only signature I actually expected to get tonite was of Mr @mrjoeiconis uhhh uhhhh but I didn't get that because I'm stupid and pussied out and didn't catch the GOAT in time :o( HOWEVER Joe JOE JOE !!! If u do read this please know how much your work (and of course everyone else's but I'd say you might just have biggest bragging rights) has affected my stupid baka life. This precious little musical i found online in 2016 as the biggest loser geek or whatever was my EVERYTHING! It helped me through my toughest timez, inspired me to create shit myself and MOST IMPORTANTLY introduced me to Ned Vizzini as an author!! He is proudly in my top 3 and every single day i look forward to meeting him in whatever form of afterlife we might be granted. Thank you Joe!! Sign my book next time okay okay !!!
Smooches to all ! <33<

P.S. gusherz :P

Went to the first ever @hastingscomiccon this weekend, and it was amazing!

I was able to meet multiple Doctor Who actors, including numbers 6 and 7: Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy; companion Peri (Nicola Bryant), and also Madame de Pompadour (Sophia Myles)!

We also got to meet the voice of the US Bob the Builder and Pingu Show Narrator, Marc Silk, and FFXV actor Jon Campling (the former of whom expressed an interest in @chill_bmcfanfilm !).

What an amazing time, and I hope they do another one next year!
