Happy National Anime Day 🎌

Wild to see anime everywhere now… even collabs like Popeyes tapping in. That alone shows how far the culture has come. What used to get brushed off as “just cartoons” is now front and center in everyday life.

For me, anime always meant more. It was storytelling with depth, real emotion, and perspectives that stuck with me. It shaped how I see things, connected me with people, and built a sense of community before any of this was mainstream.

So seeing the growth now is exciting… but I hope people also take time to understand the roots. The history, the creators, and the culture behind it all.

On a real note, this was just a quick reel I recorded after work. Nothing crazy, just wanted to speak from the heart and enjoy the day for what it is. Posting this late but it felt right.

If you’ve been here, you know. If you’re new, welcome in.

Let me know your favorite anime below!

Taking my time with Vagabond and slowly soaking in every page. I keep pausing just to admire how Inoue draws faces. Every expression feels alive and carries emotion without even needing words. The story is only beginning to brew but you can already feel the deeper questions forming about strength, purpose, and the path a person chooses in life.

Reading it slowly feels like the right way to experience it. Letting each panel breathe, appreciating the brush work, and thinking about what it means to grow as a person.

For the anime and manga fans out there, what philosophical thought or life lesson has a series ever left you thinking about long after you finished it?

Shelfie Sunday ft. Winter Changes

This time of year always feels good to stay in and reorganize been slowly getting my entire collection sorted organized im talking nostalgic items (media, games, books, etc) and what is my plan to keep or display it cause having it in storage was not ideal and with me having a family with grandparents and not getting younger its time to be intentional and unhaul and grow my collection accordingly

My goals for 2026 have been going well but its a slow and steady process to unhaul what memories ive kept for so long

Would love to hear how everyone manages and organizes collection and how they decide to unhaul?

Excited for new announcement op box set five is a must. Gonna be finishing my thoughts on how to display all my one piece collection

Stay Blessed Stay Reading Stay Awesome
