Good evening writers community

Here's a little something to get you started for the year.

Tough times may come, times when you might not be able to write, but don't lose hope. You're a writer and that's enough energy you need.

In the Spirit of Thanksgiving, what are you thankful for?

We as a writers family, we are thankful for our lives, we are thankful for growth, we are thankful for the grace of God towards us, we acknowledge that we make mistakes and our mistakes help us grow. We are thankful that we've been able to survive 2020 and all its shenanigans. We are thankful to all our writers for keeping it real and always bringing their best to the table.

We know this is just the beginning of our journey, but we are grateful for all we've accomplished so far.

What are you thankful for? Share with us.

We say NO to SARS
We say NO to the abuse on Nigerian youths
We say NO to the death of our future leaders
We say NO to the death of our dreams.

We can't walk freely because the so-called police that are supposed to protect our lives are now a threat to our Lives.

We want to bring an end to SARS
We want to bring an end to SARS
We want to bring an end to SARS

This social injustice needs to stop now,
It needs to stop today

We have the freedom to live.
We have the freedom to walk freely.
We have the freedom to dress the way we want.
We have freedom to looking good.
We have the freedom to buy whatever phones we decide to use.
We have the freedom to drive cars.
We have freedom to looking fresh and clean.

We demand that the Special Anti-robbery squad be brought to an end.

We demand an end to Sars.

Inklings says NO to SARS!

As writers, it is important for us to know that readers are most likely going to feel the way we felt while writing.
If it's a happy scene, and you actually got excited while writing it, readers are most likely going to feel that energy. It's not enough to just write a scene or a poem, the emotions need to be transferred.

So if your project is boring, there are high chances you got bored writing it.

If you have anything to share about this, please leave a comment.
