My daughter sat through two of my talks last week. She has now heard the CHATTER and SHIFT material more times than any human should. Somewhere between the @landmarkschool and @google we squeezed in an incredible meal at @rezdoranyc and her first college visits — which meant I spent the week being both the guy on stage talking about managing your inner voice and the dad in the passenger seat trying very hard to manage his. Mixed results. Peak experience anyway.

I had the privilege of interviewing two chefs who helped bring Indian cuisine into the homes of millions across the U.S. (@maneetchauhan & @aartipaartipics) in celebration of South Asian Heritage Month with @youtube 🎉

Building community and talking about food are two of my biggest passions, and I’m so grateful for opportunities like this.

As someone who grew up seeing food as a way to preserve culture, connect generations, and bring people together (especially when they don’t know why your house always smells like tadka), this conversation felt especially meaningful. It was a reminder that every dish carries a story and that sharing those stories helps people better understand one another.

Even better, we were able to bring together some of the best culinary talent in New York - arguably, the world. Storytelling through food is something that resonates deeply across South Asian communities, and the passion, creativity, and dedication to excellence each of these guests brings to their craft is truly inspiring.

This is a great reminder to visit / fund / chat with the folks bringing the diverse nature of our cultures to the world!!!
