🎵 In Motion 2027 applications are now open.

In Motion is for UK-based creators working in any genre or discipline who are ready to invest time, attention and energy in deepening, expanding or reimagining their practice over an 18-month period.

There is no single route through In Motion and no predetermined version of what success should look like. Instead, the programme is built around each artist’s ambitions, creating time and space to reflect, experiment, take creative risks and make meaningful changes in their work.

⏩ The application process is in two phases.

Phase 1️⃣
The first phase is a public open call to any creators interested in being considered for the programme.

In this first phase of application, you will be asked to:
• Submit your personal information, including your biography
• Respond to the application questions
• Share two links to examples of your work

Phase 2️⃣
If you are longlisted, we will invite you to submit answers to further questions. Applicants who are invited for interviews after the second phase will either be offered a place on In Motion or the Seed Award. We offer feedback to all applicants.

📅 Applications close Monday 2 November 2026.

Sound and Music is a @prsfoundation Talent Development Network Partner supported by @ppl_uk. In Motion 2027 is supported by @aceagrams, @prsfoundation and @creativescots.

Some of the best movements in history have had a soundtrack. This is your chance to start writing one. 🌻

On Thursday 12th November, we are hosting a free songwriting workshop for young people already involved in climate action. Led by experienced songwriters and performers, Chisara Agor and Phoebe Jasper, the afternoon is built around one idea: climate courage.

What does it take to keep showing up, speak up and stay hopeful when the challenge feels enormous? And how does that sound as a song?

Over an afternoon of facilitated writing, sharing and experimenting, you will explore your own experiences of climate action, turn them into lyrics and melodies, and leave with the beginnings of a song you can call your own.

Curiosity and a willingness to try things are all that is required.

Young people aged 18 to 30 from London and the South East who are already involved in climate action, whether through a campaign, a collective, a college society or a community project. If you care about the planet and want to find a new way to express it, you belong in this room.

Follow the link in our bio to sign up. There's a limited amount of spaces so be quick.

This workshop is in collaboration with Youth Climate Collaborative and Climate Live.
