There is beauty in accountability. There is beauty in building bonds that are centered on our core (Christ). Remember, two are better than one because when one falls, the other is there to pick her up. We need each other on this journey of becoming like Christ. So today, rekindle the fire of those amazing friendships God has blessed you with. You don’t always have to wait to be reached out to. The essence of encouraging one another is so that none of us would be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.

We know you missed us, don’t lie. 😉
.

And on that note, the first thing we should probably get out of the way is that Lie has two meanings. The first means to be in a horizontal position and the second means to make a statement that is not true.
.

For the purpose of this lesson, we will be looking at the former definition alongside the word Lay.

Name: Chizotam
Age: 27 (Still can’t believe it. Where does the time go?) Occupation: Corporate Lawyer

In consideration of all factors and experiences, how would you describe your career trajectory thus far?
It’s been equal parts interesting and stressful. I initially started out as a corporate and litigation lawyer and it did not take too long to decide that I never wanted to spend another minute in a Nigerian court room. So for the past year and a half I’ve been working as a corporate lawyer (focused only on transactions and advisory) and it’s been such a learning process, which is not always fun. Late nights, early mornings and long hours but honestly I’m not sure what else I’d rather be doing (and believe me when I say that the moment I figure this out I’m hanging my legal boots with the quickness lol)

Your dreams/aspirations: So many! But above all, I want to be content in every season of my life.
Fears: Flying roaches and not discovering what I’m truly passionate about.

There is no 'dress code' per se for Christian women, but what we need have in mind is that we have to preserve our honour as DIVAS that we are - Divinely Inspired.💃🏾
We are containers (finished product of God), and the clothes we put on are like wrappers for the containers. If we have the right content in the container, but the wrapping is all wrong, the purpose of the product will most likely be lost and people will be misled.
Supplement your content (what you have on the inside as a child of God) with modest wrapping (your dressing) sistahs. Meanwhile, let's not go judging who-wore-what, we're here to correct one another. 🤗
Shalom!

Some of us like to believe we're always the ones being offended by others, and we don't offend 😏.
NEWS FLASH: we're all guilty of offense.
We are not naturally predisposed to being nice ALL THE TIME, but ill feelings shouldn't linger in our hearts that they begin to fester hate.
It's not enough to say "I'm sorry", although sometimes that's all it takes to settle our differences, but we as a #fam have to be VERY intentional about forgiving and living in peace with one another. Just like the scripture says, we can't claim to be in love with God, a supreme being who we've not seen, when hate resides in our hearts for the human beings which we see ❌. Just like light is the absence of darkness, hate is the absence of love.
Let love reign❤
