Being a senior is so tough but the hardest thing to do is to say goodbye to the little kids that are crying because they looked up to you. Hearing parents come up to me and tell me how inspired their kids are by me will forever stick with me and I hope to always watch these kids grow and continue their dancing. I’m going to miss this place. I’ve grown up in the studio since I was 3 years old. There really is no place like home❤️

It’s Sunday but this time I’m no longer a Senior… I GRADUATED!!! Oh I don’t even know how this is real, it kind of feels like a dream. I wouldn’t have made it to this point if it wasn’t for my Mother, supportive family members, staff members, and my friends. They all pushed me to my best, because they saw something in me so I’m forever grateful for them. Even though I won’t ever walk in those halls again those memories will last a lifetime. I’m ready to close this chapter so that I can open up this new chapter at TU!! Little me would have never believed this was happening and she’d probably just be asking “Did you get on a college cheer team” if you know me that’s what I’ve strived to do ever since I could walk and now in a few short months I’ll be living that little girl dream of mine. Even though we are all going separate ways, it doesn’t mean goodbye forever.. just means simply see you later!!❤️

By far the hardest goodbye❤️

This weekend was my last dance competition ever. I now have to say goodbye to something I have been doing since 2016 with my best friends. My life has been so impacted by the competition team and every member throughout the years. This team has given me my best friends in this entire world. Biggest thank you to @rebeccawalkerdance and @dbcarlock for all of the opportunities you have given to me. i would not be the dancer i am today if it weren’t for you guys and you have inspired me and kept my passion for dance since you came into my life. i have so many memories with @teamdtcd, and i would not have wanted my experience to be anything different. thank you everyone for giving me something to miss this bad❤️

#seniorsunday closes the biggest chapter of my life.
@teamdtcd words can’t describe how lost i’m going to feel without you. no more saturday practices, or long weekends that end in tears, food, and dance parties, no more building as a family. this team was my home away from home. I am so beyond thankful for everything, all the opportunities, relationships, and experiences this team has given me.
a special thank you to @rebeccawalkerdance for always sticking by my side and always believing in me, and @dbcarlock for being the biggest supporter of all of us, truly we wouldn’t be the same without you. To my favorite people ever, my teammates, you are all truly my family and I will always know where home is. Lastly to my momma for always believing in me and being the reason I kept going. I couldn’t do any of this without you.
