I wanted to make a video to capture all the incredible moments, emotions, and experiences from my Camino. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized that you simply can’t put the Camino into a video.

Since I came home, people have been asking me:
Why did you do it? Did it meet your expectations? What was it like?

And every time, I struggle to find the right words.

At almost 40, this was my first real trip completely on my own. And it became one of the most meaningful experiences of my life.

I truly left my heart on the Camino.

You meet so many strangers who quickly become people you care deeply about. Some walk with you for just a few kilometers, others for several days. And some become key parts of your journey without even realizing it.

You walk the Camino for yourself, yet you’re never really alone.

It gives you meaningful encounters, deep conversations, silence, challenges, gratitude, and memories that stay with you long after you’ve reached Santiago.

Even now that I’m back home, my thoughts return to the Camino almost every day. I feel like a part of me is still there, while at the same time I’ll carry the Camino within me for a very long time.

The Camino doesn’t end in Santiago. It continues within you.

Buen Camino. ❤️
