There’s something so special about stepping away from your normal routine and watching God move in ways you never expected. This week challenged me, encouraged me, and reminded me that sharing the Gospel doesn’t require having all the right words, it simply requires being willing to go.

I was blessed to spend the week serving others through painting a home, helping at VBS, serving the homeless, praying with people, and meeting others from all areas of life. Every conversation and opportunity to serve reminded me how God is already at work in people’s lives, and what a privilege it is to be part of what He’s doing.

I’m leaving this week with a deeper love for people, a greater confidence in sharing my faith, and so much gratitude for everyone I had the opportunity to serve alongside with. I’m praying that the Lord continues to work in every heart we encountered and that the seeds planted this week will one day produce a harvest for His glory.

"How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!" -Romans 10:15

I had the gracious opportunity to go on my first mission trip this summer. The Lord is constantly showing and reminding me of His love and goodness. This week I was able to boldly talk to people about Jesus, from our homeless outreach to my two new friends i met at a local Mcdonald’s. He has allowed me to courageously speak up and pray for others! “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” James 1:22

RGV MISSION ‘26

This week clife youth was so much more than just a church. We worshipped with an incredible new church family, hung sheetrock to help another, poured into kids through VBS, took the Gospel to the park, and shared meals and prayed with those experiencing homelessness. Then we got to end it with a debrief at Padre Island. Through different people and different places the truth that is Jesus was shared. Grateful for every conversation and every opportunity there was to watch God more.
