The @countrylivingfair in Rhinebeck was a BLAST and the perfect excuse for @laraluna and me to head home to the Hudson Valley. Meeting @chloebarcelou and Brandon of @shiphouseproductions (at last!), touring their tiny home on wheels, and getting their autographs on their gorgeous book made my day! So did meeting legends @anniesloanstagram and @thomasmachinteriors and hearing @mikewolfeamericanpicker tell stories. We got to see our new friend Lauren @sweetbotanicalbakes, sip @drinkmilos in the VIP tent and experience the magical way @countrylivingmag brings its pages to three-dimensional life. When people ask us why we would ever let strangers tour our home, this is why! It’s absolutely heartwarming to see their faces light up like a little kid and it almost feels like a responsibility to share this joy and inspiration with people. And we get to meet lovely people like @missolivegrace, @everythingnewengland and @heather.senison (seen in this video) and expand our horizons. Nothing like bringing a smile to peoples faces! We had a heel-kickin good time at the @countrylivingfair last weekend. So glad to see it back in the Hudson Valley! I loved all the booths and exhibits from @caravanquilts , @bloem_hv , @shiphouseproductions / @chloebarcelou , @meckleybrooms and more. Thank you thank you @countrylivingfair for an epic weekend. We literally took the hat shop in Rhinebeck and recreated it a half mile down the street to this magical gathering at the @dutchesscountyfairgrounds Thank you everyone who lended a helping hand, a design eye, a pick up truck! I couldn’t have done it without you! We had perfect weather! And I got to meet so many inspiring humans! Until next year!

I think if our hearts were anymore full, they would explode! We were overwhelmed with love and good people this past weekend at the @countrylivingfair and were over the moon to meet so many talented and interesting people. We gave tours to about 2,000 people (a modest estimation) and had lines to get in our house all three days of the fair. It was a dream to have legends in the tiny home such as: @anniesloanhome @anniesloanstagram, @saskagraville (editor of @countrylivinguk), @sarahkjp and @kjp, @hillhousevintage and @daisysuttton as well as hanging with our friends @cheapoldhouses (who we saw on exactly October 4th last year, what are the odds of that), @jennycipoletti (whom I regretfully did not get a picture with, but she is as beautiful in person as she is online) as well as @heather.senison and @everythingnewengland who has been a longtime IG friend and we finally met in real life! Also @maridruna @mklindo who is now my new favorite knitwear brand and kindred spirit (and whose sweater I am wearing in the pics with the yellow dress!), to name just a few. We will carry these new friends and memories in our hearts forever. 🖤 The tiny home traveled 500 miles and the only damage was a slight scratch on Brandon’s computer monitor 😂 We slept on the fairgrounds on Sunday evening, everybody packing up their booths. It felt like being part of the circus, in the best way possible. Oh! The Places You’ll Go! @rizzolibooks

Loved seeing this amazing shoot in @nhmagazine This was a fun editorial photoshoot to work on with the very talented Fashion editor @chloebarcelou for the magazine. The images beautifully photographed by @jennbakosphoto whom I had wanted to work with ,so I was excited when I found out she was going to be the photographer for the shoot. Our model was @carolelang_model She was wonderful to work with and honestly one of my favorite models I’ve had the privilege to do hair & makeup on set for. The @thefellsestate John Hayes Estate at the Fells in Newbury was breathtaking every where you looked. I need to go back with my camera and art supplies.
