This is the kind of environment I will spend a lifetime being grateful I found. The honor that it is to dance on this team, with these people, for these coaches, is something pretty much indescribable, but I’ll try. In April of last year, when I went searching for a more serious way to dance again, I never imagined I would find a place that in turn, gave me true purpose, overwhelming inspiration, and endless opportunity. I never imagined I would learn skills I’ve never even heard of, dance next to champions, and get to experience THE DANCE WORLDS?

Part of me wishes that I found this earlier, that I got to grow up being an energizer, but another part of me knows I found it exactly when I needed it. They met me exactly where I was, with no judgement, and with the true intention of giving me the chance to live my dream. What a privilege it is to feel that way, and to know that my story with them is not over.

When I joined, I felt like I had stepped into a room full of people who were simply on another level of excellence, and I wondered how I could ever measure up. But what energizers has taught me is that the excellence I admired so much wasn’t an unreachable quality they were born with- it was something they all chose, and something they nurture every single day. Excellence lives in all of us, but it shines through for them because they decide to show up and work for it. It will never stop being exhilarating to have that kind of ambition around me.

THANK YOU @energizersdanceteam @sheilatrost @alexistrost @cierratrost @jim.trost. Thank you for believing in me when I did not believe in myself, and thank you for convincing me to come in person and see firsthand how life changing this space is - to THINK I almost said no due to a busy schedule (last slide) is absolutely insane, because saying yes was the best decision I’ve ever made for myself❤️

Persistence Wins.

As we count down to our 2026 World Champion Ring Ceremony, we are highlighting the journey our coed team took to get here. In Energizers history, we have competed in Open Coed Pom at Worlds 6 times. Each time earning a medal which is an accomplishment we are very proud of but if you know us, you know we are driven to our core. In those first 5 tries, we were so close to our goal of earning the top spot on the podium. 2026 was the team to get it done. From the very first practice with this team, there was something special. They showed fight that was undeniable. It was always going to be this team.

“You don’t win despite the losses. You win because of them.” We are so proud of the journey that brought us here and can’t wait to celebrate at the Ring Ceremony!

& a special fun fact: Cierra and Alexis danced in every single Open Coed routine. They wore each of those medals from our first coed title in 2015 to our gold in 2026💙 #thedanceworlds #energizersdanceteam #energizers #worldchamps #worldchampions
