October 11, 2026 I started off my morning attending the Louisiana Cotton Festival Mass at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Ville Platte. It was such a beautiful way to begin the day, giving thanks to God for all of the incredible blessings, memories, and opportunities this past year has brought me. Following Mass, I had the bittersweet honor of riding in the Grand Parade of Cotton one last time as Queen Cotton LXXI, while our newly crowned Queen Cotton LXXII, Ashley Gorrell, made her official debut alongside her royalty! It was such a special moment getting to celebrate the beginning of Ashley’s reign while also closing out my own. Seeing the streets of Ville Platte filled with so many familiar faces, friends, family, and members of the community who have supported me throughout this journey meant more than words could ever express. I could not have imagined a more perfect way to end my year as Queen Cotton. This community has given me so much love, support, and memories that I will cherish for a lifetime. My reign may have come to an end, but my love for the Louisiana Cotton Festival and the community I have been so blessed to represent will last forever. 🤍

• Washington Mardi Gras • The Finale • 👑✨ The moment I dreamed of all year!🤍 Saturday was the most unforgettable conclusion to a whirlwind week. After morning rehearsal, I loved having some sweet downtime during our free afternoon to grab lunch with my family and explore a few charming local boutiques before getting ready for the big night 🛍️🤍. As evening arrived, the magic of the night truly came to life. Walking across the ballroom floor in my gown, crown, train and mantle to be presented at the Washington Mardi Gras Ball was nothing short of magical. Stepping onto that stage to represent the Louisiana Fur and Wildlife Festival before thousands of guests was easily the greatest honor of my entire reign. We danced and celebrated long into the night at Queen Sarah Heebe’s Breakfast with live music and our sister queens!🎶💃 To my festival board, my community, and the Mystick Krewe of Louisianians, thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me memories, friendships, and a sisterhood I will cherish for a lifetime. I will forever be grateful for this experience and the people who made it so special. Laissez les bon temps rouler forever! 💜💛💚

• Washington Mardi Gras Day 3 • Due to the weather conditions, our morning plans shifted away from Arlington Cemetery, but we were treated to an incredible visit to the Library of Congress instead, and my law school heart absolutely loved getting a private tour of those breathtaking halls and rich history! 🏛️📚✨ Afterward, we enjoyed an exclusive lunch at the Sulgrave Club before heading back to prepare for the evening. We traded our daywear for formal attire for our official presentation at the Captain’s Dinner Dance! Stepping out onto that stage and hearing my name called representing the Louisiana Fur and Wildlife Festival was an absolute dream come true and a moment that felt so surreal. An honor I will carry in my heart forever! 👑✨
