STATE OF EMERGENCY. 💥 it has truly been the honor of a lifetime. this spring dance has been the most impactful, demanding, stressful, but above all- REWARDING spring dance yet. to hear the booming of the audience only get louder after every performance and join in on our chants made me a happy human on and off that stage. the support is so seen and SO heard.

@tweetboogie taught me what it’s like to DANCE HARD for 6 hours straight. she taught me how to hold my own and pull my own weight. she strengthened and completely shifted my mindset and approach to dance in the BEST way. i cannot thank you enough Tweet for the immense support and love you’ve poured into this group of dancers. thank you for all of the in-between moments of laughter, jokes, advice, and stories. thank you for trusting us with this topic. and thank you for the nickname “turtle.” your passion for dance and most importantly for what’s right will never go unnoticed.

safe to say we danced hard, danced for our lives, and danced for all the lives that are impacted every day by police brutality, ICE attacks, separation from families, and just so much more. this is real life. art will imitate that. and it always will. artists are supposed to be the ones who listen, advocate and preach what’s right, and FIGHT for what’s right. so let’s be the artists we say we are and continue to fight for a better world for ALL. we the people, right?

what a week! filled with the joy of doing what I love and sharing it with people who love it just as much. I honestly wished it would never end

Safe Harbor! Every time we performed, I fell more in love with this piece. It became a story I found parts of myself in, and every time I danced it I felt myself getting pulled deeper into it. Thank you @kizunadance for trusting us and giving us the chance to bring this beautiful work back to the stage.
@isabelerosso , your support as our rehearsal director meant so much throughout this process. This piece wouldn’t have come together the same way without you.

To my cast, thank you. I truly feel like in this piece we cared for each other and held space for one another. You all inspired me and pushed me to be better. Safe Harbor will always have a special place in my heart.

Thank you so much @kizunadance for this incredible process and making my first Spring Dance extra special. I absolutely fell in love with the spirt of this piece and am so grateful to preform with these inspiring humans! Thank you so much @isabelerosso for all your guidance and wisdom as I am filled with gratitude. My new home has welcomed me with open arms and I can’t wait to soak in these four years of love! @montclair_dance

Conan Gray you have forever changed my life. i’m eternally grateful to have experienced The Wishbone World Tour with my best friends. this is an experience i would feel over and over again for the rest of my life if i could. best night of my life. this post concert depression is the realest it’s ever been. i love you @conangray <3

What Holds Us Together - wow. words cannot describe how endlessly grateful i am to have had the opportunity to be apart of this piece. @omar.roman.dejesus i cannot thank you enough for trusting us with this piece and for all of your love and guidance throughout the rehearsal process. @dcresc thank you so much for all of your support, guidance and spirit you brought during rehearsals and show week

to this incredible cast, i am so insanely lucky that my first spring dance was with you all. i am so grateful that we got to share the stage and be our most vulnerable and authentic selves together. you all are so insanely talented and i cannot wait to see what you all accomplish in the future 🫶
