Some more snaps taken around London. We'd popped up to see the 'Japanese Women Photographers' exhibition at @thephotographersgallery which was very inspiring. Some personal favourites from the exhibition for me were Mika Ninagawa and Rita Noguchi's works! Naturally we had to use the Autofoto 60's analogue photobooth you can see in the first shot. - September '26

A day out in London - We stumbled on this little park whilst looking for a rest spot and honestly I had so much fun just concentrating on getting a variety of shots from this one place. The light kept changing, the people came and went, it was a joy just to exist in a tiny part of the world for short while and take it all in. - September '26

Ep 84 💡🎙️ Question and Answer 💡🎙️

Once a week, I’ll ask a photographer or other creatives in related industries a question, in order to breakdown gatekeeping, share knowledge and give a real insight into the photography industry.

Thanks so much for your insight @chloeimbach

Hope you enjoy this episode and I’ll see you on the next 🫡

⭐️ Slow Fashion Week workshops at The Dome on Saturday were a great success with thanks to our workshop facilitators and volunteer team!

⭐️ We had a packed program of workshops throughout the day, hundreds of people came through the workshop doors to try their hand at new ways to extend the life of their clothing, and to learn more about sustainable and regenerative textiles

⭐️ First up was scrap fabric weaving with Darren from Art in Textiles
Alongside patch making for your clothes with Ruby
Then we had Toast for a darning workshop
Followed by natural dye block printing with Cath from East Side Print and painting on clothes as a form of up-cycling with Zoe
We offered sewing machine tasters throughout the day, so people could just jump on and have a go

⭐️ Allan Brown, textile artists and teacher and creator of the most beautiful Nettle Dress (check out the film!) showed his current work in progress and spent the day spinning and chatting to everyone,

⭐️ We love to be able to offer workshops free at the SFW flagship event, so that everyone can participate, and just have a go. Thanks to Rampion for providing some budget to make it happen!

⭐️ Massive thanks to our workshop volunteers Fenella, Shirley, Juliet and Trina

⭐️ Thanks Chloe for your beautiful photographs

⭐️ We are Brighton Fashion Collective and we produce Slow Fashion Week as a collective of individuals and our organisation Sew Fabulous, and Brighton Peace and Environment Centre...This was our fourth year and I think it was the best one yet!

WHAT A WEEK 🎉

We’re still catching our breath after a whirlwind of slow fashion fun, but we want to take this time to say a huge thank you to everyone who made the fourth edition of Brighton Slow Fashion Week such a success.

A round of applause to all of the volunteers, event partners, brands, designers, workshop hosts, models, panellists, hair & makeup artists, photographers, DJs, and every single person who attended an event over the past week.

The slow fashion movement is built around the idea of communities, and the hundreds of individuals and organisations whose contributions made SFW26 the very best yet are proof of that.

We’ll be sharing a lot more over the coming weeks, but while we take some time to recover, enjoy a selection of our favourite photos from the brilliant @chloeimbach 💙

From packed-out crowds and unforgettable performances to the communities that make grassroots music what it is, these moments were captured by an incredible community of photographers & videographers during Everywhere At Once.

The people documenting grassroots music are an essential part of the ecosystem too. They preserve its history, tell its stories, champion emerging artists and capture the moments that become part of our collective memory. Live music documentation should be shouted out more often as a vital part of the grassroots music community.

A huge thank you to everyone who gave their time and talent to help document the festival. We couldn’t tell these stories without you.

Show them some love 👇
