Berkshire captured its first NEPSAC girls basketball title in 33 years last season, doing so in thrilling overtime fashion.

How are the Bears re-tooling for their championship defense?

September is the closest thing to a dead month in the basketball world, but look around a little and you’ll find some activity. The separators 🔑

Wednesday in Westchester County with @nickresavy and the @northeastelitebasketball high schoolers ✔️

Then my first fall night of NEPSAC (@nepsgbca) open gyms with visits at @darrowgirlshoops (NY) and @berkshire.basketball (MA), who both bring the heat with talented returners & newcomers after winning championships in their respective classes in March.

So proud of these girls for sticking together after a tough start to the season. We finished league play at 4-7, earned a spot in the Select 40 as one of the lowest seeds, and now we’re Elite 8 bound!

What a Cinderella run! From a field of 40 teams, we’re down to the final 8, and today we’re battling for a spot in the Final Four.

No matter what happens, this team has already shown incredible heart, resilience, and determination. Good luck today, girls—keep believing and keep making history! 💙🏀 #CinderellaRun #Elite8 #TeamFirst #Believe #starz

WE are taking the lessons from this weekend and putting in the work day by day. The end goal remains the same: building the chemistry and grit to make another run at a championship.
Back to work. Great Weekend Ladies! 🧱🏆

Graduating from Berkshire School is a milestone, but the true gift of this year wasn’t just the time spent here, it was the incredible community we built.
Berkshire genuinely became my second family. To the faculty, my friends, and everyone who made this place a home: thank you for your warmth, your unwavering support, and your unmatched spirit. I have been so incredibly close to this community, and every single moment here has been shaped by the people who surrounded me.
Leaving a place that has given me so much is bittersweet, and I am going to miss everyone more than words can express. Though this chapter is closing, the bonds we made under the mountain will stay with me forever. Thank you bears for giving me an amazing year under the mountain. As we all know; Once a bear…. Always a bear. And I am proud to be one!! Go bears!!🐻 🏔️💚🎓 #gobears🐻 #graduating #lfg
